May you know the incredible trust that comes from a child who feels cherished by you. May your children know the safety of a parent who can look at the dignified why behind their less dignified reactions. May your children know the incredible bonds that come with parents who are willing to enter the silliness of play. May you know the pure joy of being consumed with contagious and healing laughter with your children. May your children know the treasure of having parents who believe in their worthiness outside of their achievements. May you know the calm that comes with steadily offering our children love and affection no matter how they are performing for us or others in the world. May you and your children have countless open and connected conversations about the complexities of the world that we are all trying to navigate. May your children be people who know how to initiate repair after rupture. A quick reminder: Only YOU can decide what is self A quick reminder: Only YOU can decide what is self-care for you AND for your relationship. There’s so much pressure in this (social media) world it seems that a shower isn’t defined as self-care and a nourishing meal isn’t defined as self-care. We are made to believe it’s only self-care if if’s extended hours out that require possibly childcare, time, and money, which many people don’t have access to. Or maybe it’s not the self-care they want, for that matter. For some, all they can get for self-care IS a shower, or a warm tea! And that is, and can be, enough…if that’s how you define it. Same goes with relationships. You’ll read that you’re only nurturing your relationship if you’re going on extended getaways, or lavish date nights, or spending long hours together. But you may be in a season where interrupted visits between supporting the kids at night, or 15-minute catch ups while you or your spouse are away at work, fill your relationship cup. At home date nights may be all that you can get, or want. And this may change. Again, only YOU (and your spouse, in this scenario) can define what is right for you. Take away the pressure from others…from “The Jones” & the world…Listen to your own inner voice🤍 #leparentcoaching #eberlepartyof5
